🐾 Adoption Process at Family Frenchies Home

🐶 1. Submit the Puppy Application

Your journey begins with our Adoption Application Form. This essential step helps us learn about you—your lifestyle, home environment, pet experience, and what kind of Frenchie personality would best match your family.

Application topics include:

• Living arrangements (house, apartment, yard)

• Daily schedule and time at home

• Past experience with dogs (especially French Bulldogs)

• Presence of children or other pets

• Long-term plans for training and care

This helps us ensure each puppy is matched to the best home possible.

📞 2. Interview & Approval

Once we’ve reviewed your application, we’ll invite you to a short phone or video chat to get to know each other. This isn’t a test—it’s a warm conversation to make sure we’re aligned in expectations, care standards, and lifelong commitment.

What we’ll discuss:

• Your puppy preferences (color, gender, temperament)

• Your daily routine and ability to care for a Frenchie

• Understanding of breed-specific needs (heat sensitivity, breathing care)

• Any questions you have about the process, nutrition, health, etc.

💰 3. Pay the Commitment Reservation Fee – $500

To join the waitlist or to reserve a specific puppy, we require a $500 Commitment Reservation Fee. This is a mandatory step to move forward with any adoption.

Here’s what you need to know:

• ✅ The $500 goes toward your total adoption fee

• 🔁 It is refundable if you change your mind before selecting a puppy

• 🔒 It officially reserves your spot in the adoption queue or secures your chosen puppy

• 💳 Accepted payment methods:

  • Apple Pay

  • Chime

  • Apple Gift Cards (Digital)

Once payment is confirmed, your adoption process becomes active, and you’ll receive priority updates.

📋 4. Join the Official Waitlist (If No Puppy Is Immediately Available)

If we don’t currently have a puppy that matches your preferences, you’ll be added to our Official Waitlist once your application and payment are complete.

Waitlist families receive:

• Priority in puppy selection (based on payment order & compatibility)

• Early litter announcements

• Weekly photos and video updates of the puppies

• Access to exclusive puppies not listed publicly

🐾 5. Puppy Matching & Reservation Agreement

When a new litter is born, we begin observing and evaluating each puppy’s temperament, energy levels, and personality between weeks 5–6. This helps us match puppies with the families who are best suited to them.

You’ll receive:

• Clear photos & videos of the available puppies

• Detailed temperament notes

• A chance to select your puppy

• A signed Puppy Reservation Agreement

Once confirmed, we’ll begin preparing your Frenchie for their forever home!

🏡 6. Take-Home Day or Delivery Options

At 8–10 weeks of age, and once fully cleared by our vet, your puppy is ready to come home!

You can choose to:

• 🐶 Pick up in person at our home (by appointment only)

• ✈️ Receive your puppy via flight nanny (in-cabin, stress-free travel)

• 🚚 Have your puppy delivered by ground transport (climate-controlled)

We’ll coordinate every detail with you for a smooth transition.
